"First off I would like to thank Adam and Kat for an amazing trip. FishHound is a top notch guide/expedition fishing trip company. Myself and 2 best friends set off on a 6 day float trip down clear creek. Our guides were Cam and Jesse. These 2 men were the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working guys I have ever meet. We had a day and a half of great fishing. Catching rainbows, dolly varden, grayling and chum salmon and then the weather turned bad on us. The river flooded and we had to get to high ground. We spent 3 days camping on a hill side and Cam and Jesse kept us safe and well feed, unbelievably they didn’t let the bad circumstances get them down. They found a way to keep us fishing all three days until we got off the river. This turned out to be a trip of a lifetime that we didn’t even know we needed and couldn’t have happened with out Cam, Jesse and FishHound. We are already planning a return trip."

Myself, my husband, my dad and my 2 teenage boys were on vacation in Alaska in July. We booked an all day float trip with FishHound Expedition and we are so glad we did!! We had a blast learning how to fly fish and catching a lot of salmon. We had 2 rafts and or 2 guides Dan and Keegan were amazing! They seemed to know the creek very well and what flies were the best to catch what we needed to. It was pretty cool that we had reindeer bratwurst and drinks (including beer!) right on the creek! We saw a golden eagle eating a fish as well. All and all this was an amazing experience we won’t forget! I highly recommend this excursion if you’re in this area!! Thanks again Dan and Keegan!!

Just 75 minutes north of Anchorage on the tributaries of the Susitna River — the closest consistent fishing to the city. Season runs May through September. We put you on whichever river is fishing best that day. All gear provided — waders, boots, rods, reels, flies — at no extra charge. Just bring your fishing license.
Half Day Wade: $225/person
Full Day Wade: $290/person

Single & Multi Day Trips
Fly out from Talkeetna in the shadow of Denali and land on remote rivers across south-central Alaska. Single day trips or 2–6 day float fishing expeditions on water only reachable by air. Multi-day trips are fully outfitted — food, drinks, tackle, wading gear, tents, and cots all included. Just bring clothing and a sleeping bag. Can be booked last minute, but more notice is always better when helicopters are involved.
Single Day Heli Fishing: $825/person
2–6 Day Heli Fishing: Starting at $1,650/person
All pricing based on double occupancy. Single anglers welcome — 20% single angler fee applies. 2% credit card processing fee on all transactions.
